Dr.Strangelove
I'm trying to install Windows XP/SP2 onto my Dell Dimension 9200 with an Intel 82801HR/HH/HO SATA RAID controller.-1- I managed to slipstream the correct drivers into the Windows XP installation CD. -2- Booting from the installation CD, Setup starts and prompts for the partition to install Windows XP to. I select the partition, and Setup prompts if I want the partition formatted Quick, Full or leave it alone. I select Quick, and Setup formats the partition accordingly. -3- Now Setup should start copying the files from the installation CD, but instead, issues this error:----------------------------------------------------------------------------------The following value in the .sif file used by setup is corrupted or missing:Value 0 on the line in section [winntdirectories] with key “307.”Setup cannot continue. To quit Setup, press F3.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------How can I solve this? I'm using nLite 1.4 RC.Dr.Strangelove
nuhi
Please edit your personal data and the cdkey to something random and attach that file. Also it might be enough to paste data in the section [winntdirectories] of that file. I presume it's some unsupported char you entered in the set path.
