If you have a newer motherboard where you can boot from a USB port, I'm pretty sure it's possible to install XP from it rather then a CD-ROM. So if it is possible, how do you do it? Just take the contents from the CD and copy them to the USB drive?

I was at work and did not have time to search. I seen that other thread, forget it, it's way too complicated. I mean I wish you can just take the contents of the CD and put it on the flash card.

No offense, but if you can't be bothered to search through information that's already there, then why should we bother to go out of our ways to answer in your own little post? :(

Someone close this topic. Please.

The reason it has 395 posts is because it's not as easy as putting your files from the CD to the USB. Wake up! Forget it. Just use your CD. You'll save 3 weeks trying to install from USB when you could install from CD in 45 mins.

But, then again, if you prefer 3 weeks trying to install from USB, go right ahead.
