morocco31477 Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 If you have a newer motherboard where you can boot from a USB port, I'm pretty sure it's possible to install XP from it rather then a CD-ROM. So if it is possible, how do you do it? Just take the contents from the CD and copy them to the USB drive?

spacesurfer Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 The reason it has 395 posts is because it's not as easy as putting your files from the CD to the USB. Wake up! Forget it. Just use your CD. You'll save 3 weeks trying to install from USB when you could install from CD in 45 mins. But, then again, if you prefer 3 weeks trying to install from USB, go right ahead.
