If it is, camera drivers are known to cause a BSOD and reboot! It seems that at least with the Creative PC Cam 300 drivers, it's having a problem with something in Windows XP Home Edition on HP Pavilion PCs.That problem may be affecting other camera drivers! October 9, 200718 yr Make sure any usb devices other than keyboard and mice are not plugged in when booting from xp cd. If the computer freezes booting from xp cd you have hardware problems. In recovery console disable the service. See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/244905/-gosh
