DVD Writer not writing

I borrowed a working LG DVD writer of my friend. But when i tired to write on a Blank DVD (4.5 GB) it show the error that it could not write DVD on Disk-at-once.

So when i tried to change the disk-at-once mode to track-at-once.... but... it's not possible.. the function is disabled .. i mean it's not changeable.

I also uninstall the Nero 6.6 n install Nero 7.0 but nop... the problem is still alive..

What is the main problem...

Replace the ribbon cable and / or try it alone on the cable, set jumpers on CS (Cable Select), use an 80 wire cable. Try that first. If no luck then try an other burning program, could be one of those nice bugs of Nero .
