ERD commander on VISTA

I am looking for a tool similar to ERD Commander which I can use on Vista. I have not found any ERD Commander version working on Vista. What I need is a tool to reset the administrator passwrod.

you will probably have to wait some time before a tool is released that has that functionality. Nothing i know of is out that will do that yet, have you tried erd commander and that does not work?

No version of ERD will work with Vista. That includes the updated version included in the Microsoft Diagnostics and Recovery Toolset.

I found these for you. I can't vouch for the usability with Vista as I do not run that OS. I hope these can help you.

I don't know if Vista stores the passwords in the SAM file, but if it does you can use SAMInside from an XP Live CD to recover/modify your password(s).
