aspenjim
Does vista cache the setup files.... something like the i386 directory XP uses? I'm trying to free up some harddrive space and am not finding many disposable files and dir's. I asked before and didn't get much of an answer to this.... Is there anyway to move the hibefil.sys file to another partition???
MagicAndre1981
DON'T TRY TO DO THIS UNDER VISTA!Vista saves the files into the WinSxS folder, but you can't see what files are save.

MagicAndre1981
as I said, don't do it or you will destroy your Vista!

Grope For Luna
There was some discussion of this on Neowin earlier this year. I did a little poking around and found a lot of large files I could delete like the sample videos, pictures and whatever junk I didn't use. Make sure you know what you're deleting.
