Outlook 2003 Spelling/Grammer Problem

Hi pls can any1 help. I open my outlook and type a new email, when i do the spell check it comes up and if there are any words misspelt it does not allow me to change its all greyd out.. for e.g if i spell pleese.. and press spell check it does not allow me to change it to please. its greyd out.. any help would be great..

You did check your Spelling options, right?
