Disable them by typing in the run command: services.msc, and disable those services and see if it helps. Other then that it could be the Virus-scanner... xlfdll Posted September 16, 2007 Share Posted September 16, 2007 (edited) em...Office 2000 also has a self-startup shortcut called "Microsoft Office 2000 Fast Open" in Startup Folder...I usually delete this shortcut...because my PC usually open some programs slowly after start this shortcut several times....Strange....I don't know if this problem has due to this...However...vista search service default is set to personal folder and Start Menu Shortcuts...
