Suggestions on how to avoid SFC/WFP popups until fixed

Folks,

I've tried to find and read every post about the SFC/WFP errors. Almost all of them deal with the setup that got them to the SFC/WFP error, but none about temporary ways to avoid them until nuhi (bless him and all his efforts) manages to find a work around.

The only thing I've seen is one person stating just disable SFC when you make your disk. Of course nuhi has inserted that wonderful "will drastically reduce the life of your install". That wouldn't be good because I'm looking to do this for clients who want their computers restored.

So, do any of these options GUARANTEE no SFC with a 2-3 year life span for an install?

1) Disable SFC inside nlite

2) Integrate software (Open office, WMP 11, IE 7, AVG, SpywareTerm) but don't integrate any hot fixes and let Windows Updater do the heavy lifting?

3) Remove components, integrate software?

We all want SFC/WFP to be fixed, but what can we do to stop being annoyed for now?
