I'm thinking it would be MUCH easier to set up multiboot cd/dvds if they could be simply written as an iso and then in the multiboot menu you choose which of the iso images you have on the cd/dvd to load.. and it does.

In case that was a bit confusing, what I'm talking about is pretty much a:

CD/DVD = contains multiple iso images >at boot choose 1 from a multiboot menu and it loads that iso image normally.

Is this possible? If so, is their any documentation on steps to accomplish this or perhaps a program that builds this type of multiboot cd/dvd for you?

Have you done this in magic iso?? If so can you tell me how/what you did?

That is because this was the first thing I tried.. and that part of magic iso I couldn't get to work (it loads the multiboot menu just fine but once I choose one of the options and it tries to load the cd I get "raw" errors). I've tried different versions of magic iso.. different cds.. verious other steps and no luck. (btw- all my cd images that I'm using are only 18MB in size if that matters)

Also of note, the cds.iso's I used in magic iso for multiboot do boot by themselves, and those same images are the ones I use for magic iso multiboot cd.

Read this thread:

AND given links.

If it's OK for you to use RAMdisk booting, read this:

http://www.boot-land.net/forums/index.php?...ic=2989&hl=

and search here on MSFN, on 911CD or on boot-land for keyword "ramdisk.sys"
