manojms95 Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 I have used nlite to create unattended windows XP professional SP2 cd.using this cd installation works fine, but after installation, my network card appears as a problem device in device manager "windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. code31"I try to reinstall the driver but same problem remains.ipconfig /all command returns a blank result What should be the problem?my nlite.ini file is Last_Session__2007.09.01_17.26.21_.ini
mara- Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 (edited) Not sure, but it is maybe because you removed hardware support for USB Ethernet. Maybe this is somehow connected with LAN hardware.I don't know why are you people remove hardware support for some stuffs? You never know when you will need something, and if is because of space, you will get only 3-5KB per remove of hardware component.EDIT: Just figured what could be your problem: You removed Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM), those are drivers for network device using ATM protocol. Maybe your card use it. Edited September 2, 2007 by mara-
