LAN card driver problem on nlited XP

Recommended Posts

I have used nlite to create unattended windows XP professional SP2 cd.

using this cd installation works fine, but after installation, my network card appears as a problem device in device manager "windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. code31"

I try to reinstall the driver but same problem remains.

ipconfig /all command returns a blank result

What should be the problem?

my nlite.ini file is Last_Session__2007.09.01_17.26.21_.ini

Not sure, but it is maybe because you removed hardware support for USB Ethernet. Maybe this is somehow connected with LAN hardware.

I don't know why are you people remove hardware support for some stuffs? You never know when you will need something, and if is because of space, you will get only 3-5KB per remove of hardware component.

EDIT: Just figured what could be your problem: You removed Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM), those are drivers for network device using ATM protocol. Maybe your card use it.
