And i was wondering does cluster size have any impact on HDD performance ?

And what is best cluster size for windows xp sp2 ?

I currently have (4K Windows xp deafult i think )

Cluster size matters depending on the usage of the volume, it's size, the size of files stored on the volume, and even read and write access bias.

4K is a good choice for most scenarios .
