Microsoft finger print reader, vista and firefox

hi i have posted here as it is hardware but it is a software problem, admins feel free to move it if its in wrong place.

ok so i have a new laptop, with windows vista on and just brought a finger print reader, but it doesnt work with firefox, anyone got any suggestions on how to get it working, i dont want to be forced to use ie, i cant stand it , and also crashes alot.

its a way of soring all my passwords, i know its not 100% safe but as mates ( thease are peopl that dont know much about computers) use my laptop and stuff i thought it would be a good idea to use the finger print reader. i have just added like 100+ logins for various sites into it then when i came to use firefox reilized it didnt work. so can anyonehelp or create an app or addin for firefox ?
