Carrotman Posted August 17, 2007 Share Posted August 17, 2007 I have Vista Ultimate with AC3filter installed.When I play an AC3 encoded avi file with WMP11, everything is fine, I get the tray icon and can tweak away until my heart's content. However when I play a DVD, AC3Filter does not appear to be used (no tray icon). Thus my DVD playback is extremely quiet.Any suggestions on how I can get WMP11 to play DVDs using AC3Filter?Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mercury_22 Posted August 17, 2007 Share Posted August 17, 2007 Looks like AC3Filter it's not your default audio filter for dvd AC3Filter Config > System > Filter merit > check Prefer AC3Filter If still not working use regsvr32 /u to unregister all other audio filters!
