Media Player 11

When I try to launch Media Player 11 via a desktop shortcut or quick launch bar the program opens then hangs. Get a not responding error.

If I open a file that requires MP11 to use it to play all works fine.

Have you tried reassociating the quck launch and shortcuts with the .exe file for them?

Try a new profile, sounds like registry corruption. Have you tried reinstalling wmp? Nothing in event viewer?

Thank you ruralpctech I deleted the two shortcuts one on desktop and one in quick launch bar. Then I went to the program file and created a shortcut from the mediaplayer.exe. (The other ones where shortcuts from the shortcut in the program list). Walah problem solved.
