MarkJohnson
sorry if this has been asked before. but I couldn't find what I was looking for.I have MCE 2005. It comes with 2 install CDs and a third 2005 update cd. I have never installed the 2005 cd before as it wants the .net 1.1 installed and I never used it before, but now a couple programs I use what it installed. this last reinstall of MCE 2005 I decided to go ahead and install the 2005 cd. I boot it up and it says there is a specify MCE 2005 update available. I then fire up Media Center and see no difference. I rarely use the Media Center much, but what exactly does MCE 2005 give you that 2002 doesn't?-=Mark=-
killerb255
MCE 2005 has Windows XP Professional w. SP2 (with domain joining option greyed out), .NET 1.1, and a bunch of security and reliability hotfixes for both the OS and MCE itself.
