In Microsoft Word (2000): Tools>Options>Save

What is the difference between:

*Allow background saves

*Allow fast saves

*Save Auto Recovery data every ___minutes

*Always create backup copy

Not be rude or something, but there is a help file ;).

*Allow background saves

- Saves de document every X minutes but with it’s original name.

*Allow fast saves

- When not using “save as” it’s a fast save.

*Save Auto Recovery data every ___minutes

- When word, windows or your computer crashes, you still have a backup of not saved data.

*Always create backup copy

- Makes a document of the same but with extension “.BAK”.
