nLite dies while trying to apply any of the RVMUpdatePack files. I have previously been able to make these updates, but for some reason now nLite closes or crashes with no error message. nLite works fine when I'm not adding an RVMUpdatePack. I can't seem to find any program log files to post, but the session files are below.

I am using nLite v1.3.5 on Windows Vista Ultimate. The hard drive is formatted in NTFS. I made sure all file permissions and ownership were correct for my user name.

I got the same report couple of times.

Turned out it's one of the firewall/antivirus/protection programs.

If they are uninstalled, rebotted, then it works.

Which one do you have installed?

I am only running Windows Defender. I have not installed any antivirus or firewall software.

I'll try reinstalling Vista and see what happens.

mertesn, hm...weird. English Vista? Enabled full DEP (if you don't know what it is doesn't matter)? Disabled many services?
