demonkill Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 Hi,I have been reading the guides on this site for how to make an unattended xp boot CD and I must say they have been very helpful. However i'm still a newbie to all this so please don't be too harsh if I seem to be asking obvious questions . I want to reformat my hard-drive with my xp professional disc with SP 2 and all latest hotfixes pre-installed. I want to edit my disc to slipstream all driverpacks from the driverpacks site (http://driverpacks.net/), I would do this using the driverpacks base software. After I had done this I would use the n-lite software to integrate the installation of several programs with the use of add-ons from the site winnadons (http://www.winaddons.com/) (http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=1357) then use n-lite to make a bootable iso, burn it with nero, then use this disc to reformat my hard-drive and re-install xp. If possible I do NOT want to do a full unattended install of XP, I want to add product key and settings etc as normal as if I was using the original disc. Is this possible? Any advice on possible problems that could occur? Thanks in advance,Tom
ricktendo Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 (edited) Leave the product key area blank... Key input dialog will pop up during install and ask for a Key (you can fill in only the stuff you want added unattendedly or skip this section because its optional)EDIT: Hit the "Go" button in my sig and you will find more addons Edited August 6, 2007 by ricktendo64
