dwarfer
So I've just got WinTV for my pc and despite only having nine channels because of a signal booster I can't connect up it seems to be working well. It has a record function to record shows but won't automatically boot up the system when its time for recording to start or shut the pc down when recording has finished. I was just wandering if there is a program I can download which will shut the pc down at a requested time. Anyone know of anything? Thanks

tal ormanda
Theres a command you can do also to shut down the computer. Go to run or cmd prompt and type: shutdown -s -t "30"-s means shutdown theres also -r for restart and many more. -t means seconds and 30 is the amount of seconds, you can hours too, just google 5 hours to seconds, and type that amount of seconds in. Also shutdown -a aborts it
