Dell MediaDirect install on other Systems

Hi folks,

i have a Dell XPS M1710 Notebook with that MediaDirect Button which loads a kind of MediaCenter only OS instead of my XP MCE 2005 SP2 i normally boot.

Has anyone of u extracted this "OS" from the hidden / unreadable Partition? Or is there something on my Install CDs i didnt find?

I will use Linux on my Laptop, so i wanna use the XP licence on my Media-Mini-PC. This one isnt from Dell, so i hope MediaDirect is no Dell BIOS-Locked software.
