Thunderbolt 2864 Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 I'm planning to get an 8800 GTS soon, and I need your help guys.I have a 22" LCD monitor and I plan to play games at maximum resolution and everything at the highest settings. If I get a 320MB will it lag? Or am I better off with the 640MB? So which is recommended? I prefer getting the 320MB but if playing at the highest resolution will make it lag then I'll change my mind.So can you NVIDIA GeForce fantics help me out here please. Thank you.
ripken204 Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 get the 640Mb to be safe. with the 320MB some games will work fine, but those newer games will lag on you. i can definatly tell a difference between my 8800gts 320MB and my friends 8800gts 640MB and we both have 19" monitors.
