Alaways run nLite on a clean windows setup

You say you used an older nLite version.

Start from scratch, modify only clean windows.

Ok so try with latest nLite and a clean windows ?

I would assume nLite does the same as

It only patches TCPIP.SYS

Just copy the file TCPIP.SYS from the clean windows setup to your installed windows in safe mode
