Outlook Express & Windows Address Book

I don't know if this has been asked before (I did a search and couldn't find anything), but why are Outlook Express and Windows Address Book linked to be removed together? I know OE needs WAB to work, but I didn't think it was the other way around. I remember when I used XPlite before I could remove OE and keep WAB and WAB worked fine. I could really do with WAB on my system for use with my mobile phone sync software, but OE is a waste of space, so I don't want this installed.

Because, if I recall correctly, WAB needs some OE DLLS and when you're already keeping the biggest files from the OE you can keep the whole thing.

thats great, thx. I'll just set the WINNT file to remove all connections to OE and that'll be fine
