Windows 2003 boot and Logo Screen

Featured Replies

:thumbup:hello: Do I change the Windows 2003 bootscreen the same as the Windows XP Bootscreen? hacking the ntoskrnl and logoui files? John

if you have a single core processor then you edit ntoskrnl.exe, if you have a multiple core processor then you edit ntkrnlpa.exe

the logon screen is disabled by default so editing logonui won't actually do a lot

to change the header flag you must edit msgina.dll. the smaller of the two images is seen in the majority of places (boot, about windows) and the larger of the images is found when you are entering logon details.
