gustavovanni Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 I have a original windows xp sp2 disc and a updated and customized unattended windows xp sp2 disc. Now I need to integrate some newer hotfixes. Do I have to use my original outdated source an integrate everything again or I could use my unattended 'almost updated' source just to integrate the hotfixes? Will nLite keep my customizations made by other programs, like XPize, DriverPacks, etc...
Legolash2o Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 (edited) i think that it would be best to use a fresh source just copy the Winnt.sif (in the I386 folder) to your original but now updated diskjust use an update pack it has the latest hotfixes and does them all in one gohttp://www.ryanvm.net/msfn/updatepack.htmlits at the bottom under downloads "Post SP2 Update Pack" (all updates released after SP2) just add the file downloaded in the hotfixes section on nLite, not need to use the integrator underneath it Edited July 16, 2007 by legolash2o
gustavovanni Posted July 17, 2007 Author Posted July 17, 2007 Yes, I've tried RyanVM's but didn't found a updated pt-br (brazilian) version.I use Windows Update Downloader to get all files that I need and then integrate them with nLite.
