mara- Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 (edited) I think it's time to open new topic about this!Everybody who tested nlite 1.4 should post his results so Nuhi can be more informed about this. Here are my results:I integreted following things:-Internet Explorer 7-Windows Media Player 11-VMAddonsDX9_1.4-RVMUpdatePack2.1.11-RVMAddonsWGAN_1.7.18.5a-IE7-WindowsXP-KB933566-IE7-KB929969-WindowsXP-WindowsMedia11-KB929399-v2-Some drivers...(preset attached)And after integration, I tested Windows in VMWare. When installation finished, I opened Event Manager, to see is there any errors and I found this error:Windows Setup encountered non-fatal errors during installation. Please check the setuperr.log found in your Windows directory for more information. When I opened setuper.log i found this:Error:Setup detected that the system file named [c:\windows\system32\sfcfiles.dll] is not signed properlyby Microsoft. This file could not be restored to the correct Microsoft version.Use the SFC utility to verify the integrity of the file.***So, I think that problem with Windows File Protection still exist. In this integration I did not removed any component, but I did also test with a lot of component's removed, and on Installation of Vmware tools Windows File protection pop-up's, although it didin't appeared in test I descibed above. That's from me...Cheers Last_Session.ini Edited July 5, 2007 by mara-
nuhi Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 No that single file in the log isn't the issue, that's expected. But integrations are to blame. Somewhere there is the mistake, especially in IE7.
mara- Posted July 5, 2007 Author Posted July 5, 2007 OK Nuhi, I just wanted you to know this.I hope you will manage to totaly fix pop-up's in next version.Pozdrav!Cheers
