Leon2003
Hi, I slipstreamed XP service pack 1 on to the Dell OEM CD and made it bootable. When I tried to install it on my computer, I received this message "vga.sys is corrupted"; At the same time non-DELL based slipstreamed CD works fine. Can some1 help me out, please? Thanks in advance.
gamehead200
I don't think Dell OEM CDs are meant to be slipstreamed... Corporate CDs work fine...
XtremeMaC
hey its nothing to do with dell CD!!!I had that vga.sys problem before because the exact sector was corrupted due to scracth on it and this wasn't a dell CD.why use the dell cd anyways just has $oem$ in it with stupid toolsanyways I've dell so I've their cd and slipstreamed it to sp1it works fine.TIP: if you recently got your dell you can just request for a new CD. it will come with sp1 !!
