rfwoodwork Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 I am new to this , I am trying to make a slipstreamed Windows xp pro cd, what I was wondering is should I download the network sp2 or can I use the sp2 cd that I have. If I can use my cd how would I do it? You can email your answer to rfwoodwork@msn.com . Thank you.
nitroshift Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 Use nlite to integrate the service pack into the installation cd then follow the guide in the unattended forum to create a fully slipstreamed cd.
Ponch Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 can I use the sp2 cd that I have ?yes you can, so you don't need to slipstream sp2, whatever you want to slipstream (drivers or post sp2 updates). If you search for RyanVM, you can get them post SP2 updates as 1 file and an "integrator".
TheFlash428 Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Is the CD you're refering to Windows XP with SP2 included, or is it just a CD with SP2 for Windows XP? If it is the latter, I'm not sure what is contained on the CD version, so you may need to download the SP2 file, but I'm not sure.
