I like the two browsers, but Firefox is my favorite because it have thousands of extensions that can do anything, but I don't like when use "70 mb of memory", in that moment I prefer Opera that is a little faster (I think) that Firefox.

I like when the music start to play in the Main and Instalation window but I think that is not so necesary (almost in Main).

And in the XP VMware other 5, 3 linux diferent distributions and 2 XP.

Try to update your drivers too, is the most common problem or disable some hardware in the bios,
in my computer I cant install XP until disable the sound and the network integrated periphericals but after that the install run.
After that I download the drivers Updated and enable the sound and network card and all works fine.

Okay sorry, but are you changing the common files dir path?
I have c:\system %windir%
c:\settings %allusersprofile%
d:\software %programfiles% but I have inside the Common files folder and all the stuff but it works fine to me

Is something for the take in mind, well now I use the Windows Updates Downloader for to download my updates check it out.

That's easy men, you only have to edit the WINNT.SIF in the I386 folder.
You only have to add in the [unattended] Section the line
ProgramFilesDir="\THE NAME OF THAT YOU WANT"
and that's all !!!

Hello, here is the Spanish traslation for WPI 5.3 updated.
In the spanish traduction that comes with the WPI 5.3 the Options and Configuration windows are totally in english, and I traduce them.

I got the Spybot Search & Destroy and Ad-Aware installed, but some weeks ago I install the Kaspersky Internet Security and it works great, got Antispyware, Firewall, Antivirus etc.. protection and no make that my system be slowly. Try it is a usuful program.

Hi, you have to erase that disc with a program like Nero, and after that you can write your new files.
I recomend the CD Burner Xp that is freeware and you can do the same.

Here is the UXTHEME.DLL patched, it works fine I use this whit Home, Pro and Media Center and never have problems.

Hi, I change my icons like My Pc, My Documents, etc..
You need to extract the files shell32.dll and mydocs.dll, in the shell32.dll are the mayor part of icons of the system, and in mydocs.dll the icons of My Documents folder.
You can do this with a tool like Resorce Tuner, you can download a demo in the page:
You can change the images and icons inside the dll, exe, cpl files
Once you change your icons compress the file and copy to the I386 folder.
