  2. Sounds more like the explorer shell isn't starting to be honest. When it goes blank, open the task manager by CTRL-SHIFT-ESC and then go to file, new and type explorer.exe
  3. Are you running a domain? If you are then it's simply a case of using the group policy management console to create a policy applied to certain users to either hide the C drive or prevent access to it completley. Both of these policies are in User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Explorer.
  4. Hi, I have used nLite on my version of XP Professional to display administrative tools, folder options, my network places and printers and faxes under an 'Other' heading in 'My Computer' Is there any way to get rid of them without me reinstalling? Thanks Ben
