  10. where would that be? I deleted XP create when I did this actually. (Windows was severly f-ed up. WMI got corrupted thoughout. I think some of the files were different sizes. I downloaded them with the XP Updater that Jono did. And when I used MSBSA It sent me to pages and some of the files were different by a few megs... I will create again with these new files and see if I get the same errors.
  11. how do I slipstream these? Could you just give me a link please....
  12. I ran xpcreate and put all the hotfixes in the folders they were supposed to be in and this is what I got after running MSBSA MS03-011 Flaw in Microsoft VM Could Enable System Compromise (816093) File version is less than expected. [C:\WINDOWS\system32\msjava.dll, 5.0.3805.0 < 5.0.3810.0] *******I know this one is susposed to be here******* MS04-011 Security Update for Microsoft Windows (835732) File version is less than expected. [C:\WINDOWS\system32\gdi32.dll, 5.1.2600.1106 < 5.1.2600.1346] MS04-012 Cumulative Update for Microsoft RPC/DCOM (828741) File version is less than expected. [C:\WINDOWS\system32\catsrv.dll, 2001.12.4414.42 < 2001.12.4414.53] MS04-014 Vulnerability in the Microsoft Jet Database Engine Could Allow Code Execution (837001) File version is less than expected. [C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\DAO\dao360.dll, 3.60.8025.0 < 3.60.8618.0] Security updates that the tool cannot confirm as installed MS03-008 Flaw in Windows Script Engine could allow code execution (814078) MS03-030 Unchecked Buffer in DirectX Could Enable System Compromise (819696) MS03-051 Buffer Overrun in Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions Could Allow Code Execution (813360) And I got one that was greater than expected... MS03-021 Flaw In Windows Media Player May Allow Media Library Access (819639) File version is greater than expected. [C:\WINDOWS\system32\wmp.dll, 9.0.0.3128 > 9.0.0.3008] So i guess my question is, is this xpcreate or is this that I didnt get the newest versions of the hotfixes?
  13. When you update the list of hotfixes could you add the date you added each file as in Q323183_WXP_SP2_X86_ENU.EXE 1,137,512 Bytes 4/28/04 So that we know when the new update was added.
  14. the updates I ahve found that are on the SUS server are as follows for XP at least...(This is only current with jono's update script which hasnt been updated since the 15th) Q811114 Q815021 Q828026 KB810217 KB823182 KB824105 KB824141 KB825119 KB826939 KB828035 Q832894 Q837009 Q831167 Q832483 I found these but they dont have the -express in the filename but they do have the same filesize KB837001 KB828741 KB835732 I agree having every single hotfix is less critical but when doing an new install of the OS it saves time to have them integrated. WINXPsus.cmd WINXPsus.cmd
  15. I was just hoping someone would be able to make a GUI for greenMachines scripts. Something where we could select some options ans stuff. Also I cant get all of the updates to run ccorrectly Q816093 824141 828035 Q824145 These are ones that I still have to update I dont know but maybe I am putting them in the wrong directories... Would there be a way to have a program check to see what folder they need to go in? I thought that I put them in the right ones (using the icon, setup or white blue) Also a program that will help make it a bit easier to do custom programs. I am not sure how to do them. for example I wanted to do one for google toolbar and winrar but I am not sure how I have to do this with greenmachines xpcreate. I may just be dumb and not understanding his directions. so a program that would create the files I need or whatever would help out tremendously. Now if I could just get a dvd burner and make it install Office 2003 too....
