    Thanks for the reply, I verified by right clicking on my computer and properites then Remote tab , Remote connection is enabled. Regarding Sharing and security settings how it should be and what are the default settings. Thank you, -Srini-

    Hi I had windows XP home edition, last week i have updated with Winodwos Genuine Advantage validation tool (WGAV) KB892130 and Winodwos Genuine Advantage Notifications (WGAN) KB905474. I was able to update these two tools with out any issues. I noticed later i was unable to connect to this machine through Remote Desktop connection from different machine remotely. I used to connect before installing WGAV and WGAN. Please help what could be the problem. I can't even revert back the installation. Thank you, -Srini-
