sorry for reviving old topic. i have to say something about deep freeze.... there are trojans which CAN infect computer, even if it is frozen, it infects all partitions and make autorun.inf in root directory of partition... when you need to install something, you must be very careful, the first moments you UnFreeze computer, and even accidentally open infected partition, system partition will be also infected...

pls remove last_session_u.ini, there is your private data... i think you need to move IE 7 ON TOP of updates... in tutorial for slipstreaming xp x64 is written that IE must be on top... WMP11 you need to integrate on he other way... find tutorial for xp x64 (2003), everything is the same (except you don't slipstream sp2)...

so, i need to install xp x64, then slipstream and re-install? tia

Do i need to have x64 windows installed to slipstream SP2 or is it possible to make slipstream on x86 windows with x64 cpu?

you don't need cds for testing! i use vmware workstation in combination with daemon tools... i create iso with vlite or nlite (depends which OS i am playing with), mount it with daemon tools, and test in vmware...
