erm hehe ok i used the command (got some command lines off the net) but now both menu say Microsoft Windows Vista .... and only one of them work... the bottom one works other one goes into black screen. sorry i am not very good in computers but can follow general commands.. any help ?

hi few months ago i had downloaded a windows from internet and used my own cd key (i got legit xp pro+ vista home pre, but wanted to try other peoples version of xp cuz it looked neat). i manage to install windows xp pro but after few clicks around i got sick of it and reinstalled my vista. Problem came when i booted up my vista, i get this message on top saying: Windows boot manager...it asks you to pick windows vista or continue with installion (got to check in morning exact message right now i am tired ). when i go to windows vita it starts to boot up my orignal vista whic his great but when i go on the second one it goes to blank screen and does nothing. Any way i can get rid of this nuisance? Cheers

Just wanting to know when might vLite be realeased as full so i can redo my vista cd again. I realised i like vista but was wanting more features that weren't important removed. Maybe we have more suggestion things that need removing and which are safe to remove or not..?? ya well just wanting to know the average date for it ... nothing specific Cheers

ok i even got my friend to get me a fresh legit cd key from his work (works for a telecommunication company) for vista and tried reinstalling with the new cd key. everything is nicely updated and activated thanks to my friend who has few keys that are spare. anyways blah blah blah i went to command promt than typed the following things 1st: netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=restricted 2nd: netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled 3rd: netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal and all three i get the same error: "Set global command failed on IPv4 The requested operation requires elevation" does it mean it requires a higher user right like admin? theres only one account that is mine and its admin also. o yes and i have tried numerous times to re type all my proxy settings in Internet explorer but i still get same error on msn. my internet explorer connects everything perfectly but not msn. my clock time is perfect also Thursday 12th april, 7:23pm so i am just getting lost here on what i am doing wrong. any solutions? thank you all for trying tho...

ok i install msn on xp and it works perfectly because i have a legit xp but i do not have a legit vista tho i am still testing it to see if i should get it. i am thinking of getting a new pc for vista tho but anyways i always use msn and been trying to go online with msn but i keep getting the same error over and over. Error: 80048820, sorry we were unable to sign you into the msn messenger at this time please try again later. i have tried both 8.1 and 7.5 version on vista and it still doesn't work. i have been using web messenger and its starting to get annoying using it. i did apply the clock stopper crack for vista tho but all my times and dates are all the same even on bios and at the bottom. i have gone thru numerous websites telling me to put this into run command etc but still it doesn't sign in. i use a http proxy and it auto detects because of internet explorer. if anyone could help it would be soooooooooo awesome... cheers in advance

ok the way i solved this problem is by switching to opera. it has stopped so i am so happy. just switch browser if you wanted to stop.

o its a bug in vista? dam heheh thought it would of been my video driver. h8 the fact iot bounces so much tho.... wish there was a way but thank you tho.. for letting me know. cheers

ok i have a ge force on board 6150 video card. i download the latest stable realease and the beta version to test it also. ok first i installed vista did everything else... updates my vista etc... now if i use firefox my browser seems to jump... just my browser nothing else and its hard to look at letter which are jumping. my whole screen goes up and down up and down... annoying and i had it so i switched to xp which is good but i like vista better. nicer looking any one have any solution? i forgot about internet explorer tho if i tried that on it or not.... but i use firefox not internet explorer. so i can't say anything on internet explorer.... any solution?

ok i go to uni and use uni internet etc.... we all are networked together etc... from each of our room to the uni. Now i made a nlite cd cuz i just wanted to remove few thing so i did but now when i try and connect to my mshome (main network name) ... its coming with error : "Mshome is not accessible. You might not have permisson to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to findif you have access permissions. The network path was not found." i can connect to internet etc with the network just not share or view the groups at all.... any ideas please help cheers.... my session at the bottom hopefully LAST_SESSION.INI

ok i love windows 2003 ok. fast and mean hehe just the way i like it. i've been able to find my drivers for my sounds card realtek ALC 650 driver for 2003 (haven't tested heoping it will work if it doesn't how can i get a version for 2003 also? and the main problem is how to get NVIDIA GEForce4 MX Integrated GPU drivers for 2003? i don't know how to get my sound card drivers and my display driver for 2003. i can find Xp but xp drivers won't work on 2003. i tried to install my display and it didn't work. please help this is the only thing that is stopping me from going back to 2003. cheers Shashank

ok hi hehe i have finally managed to get 148mb iso winxp. few processe running like 18 but i want to decrease that to 14 or lower hopefully. and using less ram also. I don't have any network etc on my computer as my computer is the only thing at home but i have dial up internet (sucks i know) so i can't really take whole lot of things. i use encarta 2007 money 2007 etc... which all work fine. was wondering what other items are safe for removeable? Network, operating system and services... one other thing is can i remove windows update because i surely don't use it. i perfer to use autopatcher... any help would be nice. (iam trying to get to TiNy version of xp which he runs nothing except the only things needed, hes even remove networking but i don't know which ones are needed for dial up internet). Maybe you guys can share you lastseasion.ini file with me so i can compare it to mine and other then i know which ones are ok for removable. i didn't wher to post this but just wanted to ask.. few years ago just before x box came out there was a really neat themes out ... green n stuff... but this theme came in a pack... one pack, click it and install it and woala... all done... sounds visual style... just wanted to know does anyone know if those type of themes still exist? i don't want to use xpize because it just icons mostly the diffrent nothing else.. i just royal its nice but want bit more than tht.. if anyone knw where i can download and install themes that way please share ehhe p.s i've used style xp, wb5 etc... don't like it or want it just want a installer that install the themes. at the moment i use Royale
