  1. thanks for the help, i looked for the logs and i found some, i really dont know very good what to look for in the logs, in some i found the /q im not sure if the installers packages are modified but i think theyre not, i've used them before and that didnt happened, i think my windows installer is modified, can it be unistalled or replaced for an another ? thanks
  2. thanks for the tip , i managed to find msiexec.exe and checked its version, i downloaded an update: windows installer 3 (v2) from the softwarepatch and i think this didnt solved the problem i have this version 3.01.4000.1823 when i double click this file (msiexec.exe) a dialog opens and i can see this: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Windows ® Installer. Hi, i just have installed windows xp with sp2 slipstreamed, everything its ok but when im trying to install a program (for example adobe acrobat 7 or winamp,jre 1.6 )the installers windows suddenly disappear i've been googling around but i cant find an answer i can find how to make this kind of stuff but cant find how to stop using silent installs any help would be much appreciated thanks
