Downloaded and installed. Works great other than it forces you to install Recode's language files, but that's nothing a trip to the directory and a quick tap of the delete key can't fix. Great first try! You get my vote for taking over...

I realize I could get a better deal online (Maybe). The shop gives me things at cost, so it's not really a big deal. I was moreso looking for monitor recommendations. I understand monitor stats as well, but stats don't always hold up in the real world. I was hoping for people with positive experiences with a current LCD in gaming.

Hey all. I'm looking to place an order tomorrow here locally (Not ordering online) for a new monitor and I'm trying to grab the best one I can for under $700 Canadian. I've had several widescreen gaming monitors and the response time was just not good as they ghosted irritatingly in games (Which would be the primary use). Drove me nuts, so now I'm looking for pretty dang much any kick-butt LCD (19' or above) that fits the budget. Any reccomendations would be EXTREMELY welcome! Thanks!

I got an X-Fi Fatal1ty and have the drivebay box with remote. The only program I can seem to use is the default one that shipped with the card and is absolutely terrible. I basically want to control Winamp and WinDVD & Stuff like that. Is there anything freeware or otherwise that's relatively easy to set up like that? I tried Girder, but it didn't seem to work with my remote. Please tell me my only option is NOT the Creative software. /me shudders. It seems the only way I can get for it to register commands in anything is to have the Creative software installed IN ADDITION to whatever I have. I hate having a useless remote hanging around! Does anyone know if Media Center supports it out of the box?
