  1. thx to u guys am now almost 70% closer to what i want my problem was that the 2 .cmd, and .reg where in the folder called $1. when i moved them to the root of the $oem$ it worked like a charm thx very very very much guys for the help
  2. here is my cmdlines.txt [COMMANDS] "RunOnceEx.cmd" "useraccounts.cmd" "REGEDIT /S hkcu.reg" "REGEDIT /S Install\Soft.reg" sorry, am not an expert
  3. i've moved my cmdlines file to the root of the $OEM$ directory, but it didnt seem to work as i've got an error saying something like the [c:\cmdlines.txt is missing ] i've also removed the ";" from this line [;"%systemdrive%\cmdlines.txt"] now am putting the cmdlines.txt back to the "$1" folder and re-installing will keep u posted, thx
  4. am new to the unattended cds cant make the cmdlines.txt work i have this line in my winnt.sif [GuiRunOnce] ;"%systemdrive%\cmdlines.txt" and i have the file located in > $OEM$\$1\cmdlines.txt so what am doing wrong ??
  5. have solved this problem, there was something wrong with one of the lines in the winnt.sif, found that i was using the deploy tools of sp2 while am trying 2 install sp1, this caused me this problem i think the line that caused the error is this : msmsgs=off since i didnt find any thing about it in the deplying tool help file am still having couple of errors, i will try hunting them down thx guys for trying to help me
  6. Still with the same error, my cmdlines.txt was inside a folder called install, but even when i moved it out to the $OEM$, got the same error msg. I think the problem is that there is a programs somewhere, run in a very early stage
  7. didnt work :| removed the [GuiRunOnce] "%systemdrive%\install\cmdlines.txt" also i doubted that there is a prob in the hotfix, undone all the hot fixes to a status that was working fine, but still stuck here am thankful 4 your help

Thx very much for this great tutorial, it did a great help to me i think there is a small mistake in this tutorial here @ [GuiRunOnce] you saied while here under the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE (HKLM)" you didnt put the codes between qoutes ECHO. ECHO Applying Registry Tweaks... REGEDIT /S %systemdrive%\install\hklm.reg plz check and let me know thx again
