  1. I was given the project of installing Respondus 3.5 on 140 computers. We have Active Directory and we also have System Center Configuration Manager so we have the tools to deploy the software without having to touch every computer but I am clueless. We've never deplyed our software and I think it is time to learn how to do it so I am asking for help. I've done research and it is all confusing to me. The program file name is respondus35.exe and I want to be able to remotely deploy the application without any user intervention. We have a mixed environment of Windows Xp and Vista computers. We also have a limited budget so I was looking for something free or cheap that we can use. Can someone please help me before I have to sit down at 140 computers and install it manually. Please remember I am an IT person and have been for 8 years but am clueless when it comes to unattended installs. Thanks in advance!
  2. I am having some problem...has anyone figured this out yet?
  3. I am having same problem. I have the image and I did sysprep but I am using a floppy for the unattend.xml file but it is just skipping right over it. Does anyone know why that maybe happening?
  4. Thank you so much for your guidance and I really appreciate it but out of the following apps which would be an easy one to start off with. I forgot to add these to my previous post. Acrobat Reader 7.0.7 AVG antivirus 7 Java Media Player 10 Office 2003 Quicktime Real Player Shockwave FlashPlayer SMS Client These are all the common apps that I would like to include on the CD.
  5. I am a newbie. Yesterday I made my first unattended Windows XP SP 2 w/hotfixes CD and wooohooo it worked on first try. Then today I added drivers to the CD...again it worked. Now I am trying to figure out how to add apps to the CD. I looked in the forums and I even printed out all the instructions off the original website and have been following them step by step and now I'm stuck....I found a link in the forum that gave really good instruction on how to do unattended app installs using the runonceex.cmd. After I read that I was excited and my first app was going to be Acrobat Reader 7.0.7. I looked up the switches for it and I didn't recognize the syntax everyone was using and some were talking about extracting and such...needless to say I am so confused right now and if anyone could point me in the right direction on how to do unattended app installs I would be forever grateful. Thanks in advance! These are actually all the apps I want to install and if you foresee that I may have problems with them please tell me
