  1. I will in a few days maybe this weekend . Whatever you may be working on, I just hope it will support X64
  2. Works for me in Command Prompt (cmd.exe) No No No. This does not work every time windows boots after the latest patches and Performance and Compatibility patches. This is what we are trying for.... ... confirm issues after install somes "new" patches... Read this thread http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=233070 It will show all the people who have the problem after the patches.

  4. THERE IS! But the file got removed so if someone can find it we are in luck. Reported Here: http://www.start64.com/index.php?option=co...46&Itemid=1 I don't want to trigger the key word so don't say it. It is two words.... The first word is the color of Barney. The second word is pill. If someone could host this file we would all be in luck.
  5. NooOOoooOOoooOOoOooooo!!! Are you going to use a different method or are we out of luck for now?
  6. yes, the method listed on the first post of this thread does not work on RTM. Programs like RivaTuner had a method of perminently disabling 64 driver signing but now that does not even work because of the recent microsoft beta patches. There needs to be a more permanent solution.... like being taken out completely prior to installation somehow???
  7. This is actually going to be a bit harder now that Microsoft has gotten game to "Astiv" correct? If you find a way to implement this permanently you will be a hero to a lot of people. Microsoft is going to try to patch every method when they get word of them. http://www.start64.com/index.php?option=co...33&Itemid=1 Will your method be able to withstand windows update patches?
  8. I cannot, no matter what registry keys I delete, get rid of the Microsoft Works Update Detection (wkdetect.exe) program from starting up with my computer. I have downloaded a nice program called "startup control panel" that gives direct access to all the startup keys that have to do with the registry. I have deleted the keys that say "microsoft works update detection", it works for a restart or two, then it is right back again. Aside from completely uninstalling Microsoft Works, how can I get this to stay off the startup menu? What service or program is forcing this to start? Please help.
