have the latest version of nlite... does nlite save the slipstreamed / integrated OS to a temp folder for burning? where is it? i thought the temp folder was located here C:\Documents and Settings\!\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\CD Burning but everytime i look nothing is there? does nlite slipstream/integrate the OS to the original folder where you picked the gold OS? Can i pick another location to put the slipstreamed /integrated OS?

no HFSLIP.LOG in sourcess folder only svcpack folder then mostly inf files and a txtsetup.sif and SETUPREG.HIV dont see on in the work folder eother

during the process of nlite at the integration stage of hotfixes, packs and themes a box popped up saying driver.cab is corrupted...fisished the rest of nlite then after i burned disk, i ran the windows pro 2000 disk, after formating the HD, the blue screen saying value in .sif file used by setup is corrupt. value 0 on the line in section [sourcedisksfiles.x86] with key "mscomctl.ocx cant continue 3 to quit whats the problem and how to fix, any ideas? thanks

how can i slipstream IE 6 into windows 2000 pro w/ nlite? is there an add-on cab file somewhere on this forum, ive looked and cant locate one...... where is the link to that page? if there isnt a IE6 cab file, can i build one with nlite add-on maker and if i can how and what are the switches? i cant remember does windows 200o pro already come with ie6 on the disk if so then i dont need to integrate it??? thanks

got several errors, one when windows2000-kb925902-x86-enu.exe started, a box popped up asking to run , i hit run it and said not a valid win32 application. said access deined for this hotfix when i ran hfslip a 2nd time... also winscript5.6 was extracting, asks do i want to overwright said yes to all ... then just showed 0 files copied.. saw in the hfslip process when it came to ie6exp file not found... kb832414_msxml2.5_x86.exe 0 files copied also the work folder remains any solutions to correct it? thanks

i ran hfslip and now i have two more folders one called sourcess and another work folder in the hfslip folder.... out of those two folders what ones do i need and do i add both new folders to the rest of the windows pro 2000 copy to burn as a slipstreamed CD?? the sourcess folder which contains a i386? what do i do with the work folder than contain several other folders for example dx9,dx9 extras,i 386e, ie6exp, and some other folders and files???

does anyone know of a good well written windows 2000 pro slipstreaming guide to integrate sp4, rollup packs, updates for example, the many KB??????.EXE files manually..i figured id do all that stuff then use nlite to add the serial key and some other customizing would this be a good way to slipstream 2000 pro then use nlite thanks

say for example i downloaded an add-on called ProgramAddons_Microsoft_PowerPoint_Viewer.cab, where does this and the other addons go? ive used nlite a few times but it was probably a few years ago and so i figured my my windows 2000 and xp needed updated again? thanks

couldnt find windows media player 9.cab as an add-on to nlite for windows 2000 pro unattended CD so trying to make an add on with nlite add-on maker for windows media player 9, is there a guide for that? i think i get most of it but what are the switches i add to the box in the add-on maker

its archive, its named d.7z but didnt know what this tep meant "Archive: DriverPack_*_V*.7z, where the asterisk can be replaced by really ANYTHING " what batch file do i run in the driverpack base

i dont know how to install with shell extension... i made a D folder and my drivers are in a subfolder name sub 1, so do i STILL archive the d folder

i found 7 zip but how do i use itm when i click on the 7za.exe it just pops up a cmd prmpt and disppears.. so i dont know what cmd to use

ive been trying to add hp onetouch buttons drivers for keyboards to my hewlett packard zt 1000 ic into the nlite program but when i try and install them from the burnt disc made from nlite they dont want to install. i added the onetouch.inf to nlite but it doesnt install from the installation disc i burnt.. did several attemps. the keys dont work when i try to install it, i was posting at the device drivers topic but someone posted this... ''perhaps putting a request in at the DriverPacks forum (located down towards bottom of main page of forums)) and Ryanvrm or someone else may make a installer or add what you need into one of the driver packs that you could then download and install.''

i can add the onetouch drivers and software after the install but it take several times adding and rebooting cause each time i add the drivers, the keys, all of them dont work and i have to reboot and after the 2nd time of adding drivers and rebooting the drivers are added and the keys work ... so i dont think its a hardware problem, for some reason it doesnt want to add the onetouch.inf file during the install off the disc made by nlite?? i cant find an update for those drivers. id like to figure out why and how to get the drivers installed so i dont have to go thru extra steps adding the drivers after, if i can get them installed off the disc that nlite made?? nothing in the bios for keyboard..
