i have installed nero 7082 with Mercury_22's way in vmware an it was ok
but now that i installed it on a real pc it installed fine but it does not working...
the prog is not opening
does anyone tried this on a real pc and saw it working ?

i got the following message when i tried to install vista build 5308:
Setup was unable to locate a locally attached hard drive suitable for holding temporary Setup files.
what can i do now??? hmm....
i allocated 10GB for vista on vmware!
VMWARE 5.5.1 build-19175
chabge the hd from 10 to 16GB and you will be ok

this is working fine in my setup i never had a problem with this one
but to get some help :
1st you should post this in nlite forum
2nd you should attack you Last_Session.ini so someone could see what have you done wrong and help you

I want to install silent the full package
that contains display drivers , wdm drivers and catalyst control center
i installed the package with -R and set it to install on D:\install\ATI
the only setup.iss i have found was in \ATI\Driver Folder
i did not found any setup.iss on c or c:\windows
the one that is in \ATI\Driver Folder has these inside :

BootOption=0then i tried to instal from a .cmd with this :
1st i try this : D:\install\ATI\Driver\Setup.exe /s
it gave me error : wrong switch
then this : D:\install\ATI\Driver\Setup.exe -s ( the setup.iss is in this folder )
and it gave me the same errordo i have to change something on setup.iss file or in some .ini or .inf file?
are any of the 2 switches i have tried correct ?
...or i can't install the full package silent and i have to install them sepperate ?
( 1 installation for display drivers , 1 for wdm drivers and 1 for control center )
i have searched but i found only one topic for old drivers
( with control panel not control center )
and the other topics i have found had instructions only for drivers
please help me i dont know what else to do

I just finished with my programs
and i was doing a test in vmware to see if everything will be ok
and i have vmware to be installed with these progs
i left it last cause i was sure it will not install inside vmware
and that some window will popup saying that it cant be installed
i just wanted to see if the command will start the setup
but that didnt happened
i saw vmware installing inside vmware
i couldnt believe it but it did installed and it is running fine !!!!!

for mediaplayer 10 you can add the addon cab from Ryanvm's site with nlite
try to search in nlite forum for addons for your programs

read the guides in the database link i gave you
do some search inside application installs forum and you'll find out how
you can try MHZ's cmenu here download it , install it
then right click on the setup of the program you want to install silently
and go to more options\installer tools\identify installer
this will show you switchess for some of the progs NOT for all
but you could be lucky and find them all with this

my personal opinion is that acrobat is hard for a beginner
try to start from some easy program (for example 7-zip or winrar)
check this link Application Database
it has guides for some progs you could start from there
then when you understant some things go to acrobat
check post #4 here for acrobat

you can run the taskmanager before starting setup.exe and see whats going on
if another process is launching after setup.exe you can make it with my way very easy
add the process name inside the (" ") and runonce will wait

if anyone wants to run nero with Mercury_22's way
and run the command that removes nero scout
add the attacked files to your $OEM$\$1\install\Nero Folder
nerowait.exe is to force runonce to wait for SetupX.exe to finish and NOT continue to the next prog
because after Nero-7.0.8.2_eng_no_yt.exe finish with the extracting runonce continues to the next prog
and does not waiting for setupx.exe to finish
i thing its better from sleep because this just wait for setup.exe to finish
and runonce will continue to the next prog only if setupx.exe process finish
you dont have to set time only add it there and add it to batch file right after the nero.exe

In your sig it says : screen resolution 180Hz? im curious what monitor you have
i have 17" TFT
you're saying now its not possible for a 17" to work on 180hz
but with ati tray tools its possible!!!

try to identify installer with cmenu
download it install it and right click on your program and go to
more options\installer tools\identify installer

i guess that "setup.exe" is a self extracting exe right?
when the "setup.exe" is finishing extracting , the process "setup.exe" does not exists
and runonce continue to the next program
to make it wait you could make a litlle autoit script to run after setup.exe
and right this :
ProcessWait("setup.msi")
ProcessWaitClose("setup.msi")
Exitsave this as "wait.au3"
then comiple this as "wait.exe" and add it in the batch file right after the setup.exe :
start /wait %systemdrive%\install\wait.exe
this script will not stop untill the given process finish
so ruonce will not continue to the next before this one finishes
i thing its better from sleep cause you dont know how much time to add
i have done this and its working very nice
try it and you'll be ok

does anyone know the difference between :
nero premium edition , nero ultra edition and nero essentials edition?
wich one is better?

errr... i dont think you can do something to solve this except installling new windows with the new nlite
i have tested it on vmware and i havent any prob with laguages
and i didnt find any problem with anything else.
You could try the reg entries from 7054 for nor language
(7082 does NOT have that entries in the registry)
but i dont thing that will help you if the languages are not installed at all.

i installed nero 7082 with the way that Mercury_22 posted
and i can change the language of nero in any language i want.
You can see that i made it to install only that 5 progs of nero in the image :
so... just a stupid thought but it could be that one :
maybe you have nlited windows with nlite rc6
and you have prob with languages and/or keyboards
and nero installing only with english because of this?

i found today what was the problem
i opened task manager two see if pskill was actually killing the processes
it was killing them but incredimail was opening because inmail & imapp was loading two times
so to make it work i added
pskill incmail
pskill imapp
pskill incmail
pskill imapp
and it's ok now

i found the switch and its working fine now!
d**n it was easy to work!
ok... if anyone cares :
just run the setup.exe with -R and then tell where to extract the files and finish the setup
the .iss is in there no need to copy/move it from c:\windows
and then run the Setup.exe that is in ati folder with /K and thats all !
the exe in the ati folder NOT the exe in the ati/driver folder ( to install the full pack )
