  1. I am deploying some antivirus/antispyware software solution for a gaming room. I am concerned with keeping them secure, however I also want to make sure I am not sacrificing much perofmrnace. No internet browsing will occur on the computers, so I am fairly confident most spyware/antivirus solutions will do the trick.. any suggestions?! B) thx!
  2. Is it possible to run windows update unattended using guirunonce or some other method?
  3. Device Manager -> Device Type -> Device -> Properties -> Driver -> Driver Details... A windows like this will be displayed. http://img511.imageshack.us/img511/5273/14cf.jpg Now, the files that are listed are obviously driver files. Is this "list" complete? Are all the driver files for this specific device listed here? If so, then I could use this list to compile a database of drivers for unattended installs across a network. All responses are appreciated. Thanks!
  4. Is anyone else running into this problem? I would think this is a somewhat large problem for anyone that uses the msft driver database for unattended installs and deployments. Well...anyways...perhaps there is a better driver database I should be using. If so, I am open to suggestions. any responses are greatly appreciated. thx!
  5. This worked, thank you! In fact, the following reg keys are available in that hive: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced] CascadeControlPanel CascadeNetworkConnections CascadePrinters CascadeMyDocuments CascadeMyPictures
  6. I am looking for the registry tweak that allows for an expanded control panel using the classic start menu. The registry tweaks that I have found only work on the default xp start menu. Thanks. Also, is there any tool I can use to find this and other registry tweaks without having to post a question online? For example, I have tried using Regmon but I found that it was tough to decipher all the data it displayed... All responces are greatly appreciated, thx.
