  1. Thanks for the info .
  2. Hello guys, just to be free of confusion; why was KB924496(Vulnerability in Windows Object Packager) removed from the list(web list)? Was it because it's only rated Moderate? Or was it superseded by another hotfix? (I don't use IE7).
  3. , thank you.
  4. Hello, the reg file I'm putting on HFSVCPACK isn't applying on my windows install(a cmd file I have there also adds itself to SVCPACK.INF, but this reg file isn't). I'm attaching it here with my HFSLIP.log also. Could someone point out the mistake in there? (Yes, it works when double clicking it). Could it be that the reg file name has an space :S? Thanks in advance. NOTEPAD_SHELL.REG HFSLIP.txt
  5. @AgiHammerklau: Thanks for the tip. @Nuhi: Yes, as I said earlier I want to test something before reporting; and I was asking if there was an option like that already somewhere(in case I missed it) just for a fast solution. It seems there isn't, so no problem. But besides that it would seem like a nice feature, just to stop XP's nagging when installing non signed drivers.
  6. Well, what I meant exactly was an actual option; I guess it does it by default when integrating drivers but I'm not doing that. I'm using hfslip and then nLite to make the final touches, but there is like a bug in hfslip that makes 4 MS drivers to go like they are not certified and asks me about them, so I was looking for an option in nLite to make that questions not appearing. I'll post about it on the hfslip forum also when I finish testing something, in the mean time I was looking for alternate solutions.
  7. Hi, I was wondering if there was an option in nLite for making it ignore the Windows logo testing for non-certified drivers(to install them with no questions asked)? Or I will just have to live with it? Thanks in advance.
  8. Well, the name doesn't have AIO in it ^_^U, it just has almost all runtimes listed there, RogueSpear's Runtimes V2.2 is the correct name.
  9. I'm just assuming, but just in case. If you are installing this before the normal hotfixes, that could be a reason, you could try to do one nLite run with the hotfixes and another with addons, thats what I do and it goes perfectly fine. (I use the All in One Runtimes).
  10. Why use Ryan's .Net 2.0, when you can use RogueSpear's one that integrates smoothly from the Hotfixes section. Link: http://www.doitrightconsulting.net/forum/viewforum.php?f=8 (the Runtime Collection topic, the .zip Addons)
  11. I think I know what the problem is, when using nLite to integrate addons this happens; but when using RyanVM integrator the sysoc.inf file gets currupted, right now I integrated with RyanVM integrator and added a couple of lines that the addons should have put in sysoc.inf, compressed it and replaced the corrupted sysoc.inf file. I'm in the process of testing if it works. The only idea of what the problem is, is that I'm using a Spanish WinXP. The sysoc.inf corrupted problem also seemed to happened on another thread with a Portuguese XP(http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=80802), so I guess it happens when using addons on a non-english copy of XP. EDIT: Returned to try it with nLite, the idea I got with Ryan didn't work; here it is the svcpack.inf. EDIT2: Got it to work at last! I didn't put Sereby's DirectX August addon and it worked. svcpack.inf
  12. I have first integrated my hotfixes(spanish language) then restarted nLite to install the addons: Windows Udpates v6, RogueSpear's AIO, RVMAddons_1.7.0 and Sereby's DirectX August on the Hotfixes section. I've checked the SVCPACK folder and the addons are there, but there is no SVCPACK.INF file. Everything is fine until T-13, when the installation is like stuck forever(I've wait over 45 minutes), am I doing something wrong? (I'm using 1.0.1). I'm ataching the two Last_Session.ini that were created. Also when not putting any of the addons the install works fine and if I put the addons when putting the hotfixes, even if they are at the bottom of the hotfixes list they integrate first; and on the second case, all addons are installed but the .NET Framework addon. Thanks in advance. Last_Session__2006.08.23_02.52.22_.ini Last_Session.ini
  13. My XP install was getting stuck at T-13 using nLite (http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=81390), but now I used RyanVM Integrator to put the addons in and the same error as described by saulob happens. Will report in RyanVM forum also. EDIT: After doing a lot of forum searching I found out that I had to check the sysoc.inf file, I did so and there was only 1, wrote on it; so I guess that an addon currupted it, I'm going to check it out one addon at a time, I suggest you do the same(you will just have to check out the sysoc.in_ file and use the "expand" command to find out what it has.) EDIT2: And now after testing it seems that when integrating addons on a non-english WinXP (I have a spanish one), the sysoc.inf file gets corrupted. Will try something right now, and will post later to see if it worked. EDIT3: Even with a corrected sysoc.inf I got the same errors that saulob, I'm clueless now . EDIT4: At last it worked, you've got to use first nLite to integrate the hotfixes and use nLite a 2nd time for the addons. If it doesn't work just try with half the addons, if the problem is still there use the other half, and so; that is the faster way and worked for me, good luck.
  14. Maybe it's because I put all the hotfixes on just one run of nLite, right now I first put the hotfixes, waited for nLite to finish and then use nLite again to integrate the addons. I'll report what happens. EDIT: Now the installer got stuck T-13 for like 33 minutes; or is it just that it takes that long?
  15. Would it have anything to do if I don't use an english WinXP? (I use a spanish WinXP, besides I the only things I do are integrating hotfixes and using the CDKey on a Default Hide installation, wierd :S)
  16. I've downloaded the Microsoft .NET Framework All-in-One (RogueSpearAddonsRuntimes_1.3.zip), and put it on as a Hotfix along with RyanVM addons pack(RVMAddons_1.7.0.7z), Windows Updates v6(nLiteOn_WinUv6.cab) and Sereby's DirectX August. I've installed it on a virtual machine using VMWare and the problem is that .NET Framework 1.1 and 2.0 doesn't seem to work(I've tried to run nLite 1.0.1(2.0) and SyncToy(1.1, from RyanVM addons) on the VM, but they didn't work). Is this just a problem of using a VM or should I use another zip that has .NET Framework 1.1 and 2.0?(like one for each version) EDIT: Checking more there aren't even the VB runtimes, so I should guess there isn't anything else on the zip installed. EDIT2: Forgot to tell that I used this addon with nLite.
  17. In short is Sereby VB runtimes cab addon usable on a non-German XP instalation? Thanks in advance. P.D. I would like to ask the same for the .NET Framework 1.1 + 2.0 one.
  18. Interesting tip, I wasn't willing to download those 40 something Mb version out there; just a question are the VB6 (Visual Basic 6) - Runtime Files and .NET Framework 1.1 + 2.0 Addon-Pack on Sereby's site also multi-languaged?
