  1. strange probles after installing xp

    Well I upgraded from 98 2nd to xp and now my cdrom drive doesnt work or the a floppy? anyone ever heard of something like this happening? both worked perfectly on 98 2nd. I have a cdrw and it still works. but the cdrom doesnt...funny thing is its still shows up in my computer [both does] any suggestions? PIII 1.0 gig Geforce 2 64meg Asus CUSL2-C Black Pearl 128 Sdram BCD E520C Cdrom JVC XR-W4080 Creative audio pci[es1370], SB PCI 64/128 [WDM] Realtek RTL8029[as] pci eithernet adapter
