Thanks guys

I have server 2003 running on my small network and I have 3 other computers on the same network. I want to share a specific folder for a specific computer. When I go to add the user it only looks on the server PC and not the network for locations. How can I share this one folder with only one computer on the network? Thanks, Dennis

Well i figured it out. I was being a DUMB A$$ did not fully disable RAID in BIOS,LOL Thx for all the sugestions

Its Windows XP PRO Hardware RAID Onboard Intel ICH8R/ICH9R SATA RAID Controller On the First link you posted i already tryed that and no good The second link seems to be the Windows Viersion od WD Diag, i tryed that and it stops right away saying something about failed cable.

I am trying to test 2 hard drives that are in RAID 1(Mirror). They are WD 250GB SATAII. When i run the WD Diag test(in DOS) it does not see any hard drivers. The system does boot. Is this because the drives are in RAID? If so how can i test them? Thanks

My friends Outlook Express (running XP) gave him a error and he could not get his emails in. He got that all fixed then a message came up to Compact so he did. Now lots of his folders 9that he had on the left side) are gone. So i went and looked at it. I looked where OE stores the emails. The folders are there but just do not show in OE. I noticed that there was 2 of each file. For exsample there was a craigslist.bak and a craigslist.dbx. It was like this for all the folders. So i created a new identity and imported his email into that but it did not import everything. It was the same as his main identity. All the files do have valid sizes but just cant get them to show. How can i fix this? Thanks for all and any help

I understand that but if the activation did work on the second computer would thay find out?

What would happen if you had vista ultimate 64 installed on 1 computer and then installed it on another computer and called the outimated phone activation and activated the copy on the 2nd pc? Could microsoft find out that its running on 2 computers buy IP's or something? Thanks

Thanks for the info geek, I have been thinking of going to AVG Free, is there anything better then that? So far i ran HouseCall online scan and there was nothing on my PC just cookies, and on her PC only 1 adware named ADWARE_SCREENSAVERS. Im running Haspersky online scan right now on her PC and ill see what happens there. I will download Hijack This with in the next day or 2 on both computers and post the logs. Hello, My wife's email was hacked last weekend. Somehow someone got out ISP account password, created a new email account and was fowerding all her email to some yahoo.uk email address. My ISP and I changed some personal info so if someone called in to get acces to my account thay would have to awnser some questions that only i know. There fraud department called and said we might have a keylogger virus. Well i scanned both systems with Norton 2007, Ad-aware and Spybot and nothing was found. What shouild I do? Is there any programs i can run to scan my system better? Any help would be great. Thanks,

Dont know if this is the correct place to post this. Say you have a HP or Dell PC and when you go to the System Properties window and on the General tab it shows who makes the PC and also shows there logo and the model name. I know Norton uses alot of resorces. But my main problum is that the computer will work fine for a few mounth and then it starts acting up with no majer changes to the system.

My computer runs great but it seems to boot slower then it use to.Also i like to have my Creative Sound card Sound control panel and the Nvidia control panel running in the task bar but sometimes thay come on at start up and other times thay dont.The other weard thing it when i set in the Nvidia Nview Properites "Make windows minimize and maximize faster" and i would click on the start button and as i went past all the programs in the program list thay would expand veryfast as i passed them but not it does not eventhow i have it set to that.The only way i usto get this featcher and the 2 control panels to run it by reformating and reloading windows witch i realy dont want to do. I scan for viruses and spyware and ad aware atleast once a week or so(as long as i dont forget).Also there are always at lease 40+ things running in Windows Task Manager Processes and im not shure witch ones i can stop from comming on at bootup. I only have 9 things set to run from MSCONFIG. See Attached Thumbnails of screen shots of the Processes.
