  1. After tacking a closer look i've noticed the Q828026 and Q32705 are not installing. If it's the Q817778.exe that is causing the issue I think it wouldn't install but I see no signs of it not being installed. Any input?
  2. Here are the particular inf that may be causing the issue: I think this since none of the other are running yet because it hasn't reached the GUIRUNONCE... So any observation? Any one that can shed some light?
  3. I receive message to confirm where to extract files at 13 min left on the GUI install. My question is: Has anyone else encountered this, if so how did you deal with it?
  4. Sorry ppl... i'm a bloody id***... i'm so tired... I mis-spelled the @#$%ing folder Let me try this again... thanks
  5. As per MS WinXP Preinstallation Reference: The OemFilesPath specifies the path to the \$OEM$ folder (containing OEM files) if it does not exist under the i386 folder of the distribution share point(in this case my CD). In any case I tried the installation by omiting that line and the folder structur still did NOT copy over to the HD in the installation process. I know the basic rules that $EOM$ folder inside the I386 folder = no application installation and $EOM$ folder outside the I386 folder = application installation. But where ever I put the folder or whatever I put in my winnt.sif file, the folder structure does not want to copy over. So that is not the solution. I mean what is in the winnt.sif tells setup to copy over that folder structur? Or is there something that tells setup do delete the folder structure befor the GUIRunonce has a chance to run? I'm really busting my brain to figure this out and i'm at a point that I desperatly need help.... even after I read about those folks that successfully made an unattended XP CD. GRRRR Anyone else care to take a shot?
  6. Hello, I've been building a XP slipstream CD including Hotfixes, Drivers and various application. I've followed the instruction on the site and put my $EOM$ folder next to the I386 folder. And in the installation process the $EOM$ folder and its content does NOT copy over to my local HD. I did tweak my winnt.sif file accordingly. I even played around with it to try an make it work such as moving the $EOM$ folder in the i386 folder and tweaking the winnt.sif file accordingly. I still cannot make this folder copy over? Feel like if i'm going crazy! Here is a copy of my current winnt.sif file, take note that my $EOM$ folder is currently sitting next to my i386 folder): ;SetupMgrTag [Data] AutoPartition=1 MsDosInitiated="0" UnattendedInstall="Yes" [unattended] UnattendMode=FullUnattended OemSkipEula=Yes OemPreinstall=Yes TargetPath=\WINDOWS Repartition=Yes UnattendSwitch="Yes" WaitForReboot="No" DriverSigningPolicy=Ignore AutoActivate=Yes OemFilesPath=".\$EOM$" Hibernation=yes [systemFileProtection] SFCQuota=0 [GuiUnattended] AdminPassword=* EncryptedAdminPassword=No OEMSkipRegional=1 TimeZone=35 OemSkipWelcome=1 AutoLogon=Yes AutoLogonCount=1 [userData] ProductID= FullName="" OrgName="" ComputerName= [Display] BitsPerPel=32 Xresolution=1024 YResolution=768 Vrefresh=85 [RegionalSettings] LanguageGroup=1 [identification] JoinWorkgroup= [Networking] InstallDefaultComponents=Yes [TerminalServices] AllowConnections=1 [branding] BrandIEUsingUnattended=Yes Home_Page= [Components] msmsgs=on msnexplr=off freecell=on hearts=on minesweeper=on pinball=on solitaire=on spider=on zonegames=off [shell] DefaultStartPanelOff=Yes DefaultThemesOff=Yes [GuiRunOnce] %systemdrive%\install\main_batch.cmd %systemdrive%\install\hotfixes.cmd %systemdrive%\install\applications.cmd Can anyone help me out?
