i got a BSOD during the las 13 minnutes of the instalation (i have a sliptreamed sp1 + the rollup + other hotfixes). is it a problem with my cd & windows file protection? is it a problem with my hd (its an old one with some problems that i am using for test purposes) the BSOD mesage was: KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR -

about finalizeing, if i do that to a cd-r, i cant write anything else to it. i thought that it would make myy CRRW not RW anymore i cant chose track at once, and the finalize thing is grayed out. -

cdimage IS faster. but i don't know how to burn the ISO into a cd with nero without having to finalice it, and i don't want to finalice my rewriteable cd. -

really? thx what about nero? i'll try with a re-writable cd now, i don0t want to waste another cd-r, and with the .iso method, it tells me i have to finalise my cdwr, and i'm not sure, but i think that would turn it like a cr-r and not be rewritable anymore. -

OUCH! i had put em in the i386 folder... what an id***... is it necesary to use tje cdimage.exe to make the the .ISO? or can i use nero to burn the cd just like i used to ? (using the xpboot.bin as boot file) also, where can i get the bootfix.bin? thx -

i followed the first page instructions (exept the bootfix thing, cause i can't find it) i burned the cd. the problem is, that when the blue screen setup comes up, it asks me to put windows xp profesional sp1 disk into drive A... -
where is the auto update line? or where do i need to put it? repartition=yes + autopartition=0 lets me chose which partition to delete, right? (it wont delete all of them i hope)

i have finished my CD, but in the text only part of the setup, i couldn't tell it to FORMAT the partition i chose. How can i chose which partition to use, ADN chose to formate it or not?
