  1. My mistake, it isn't the group policy, it's a registry key. [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon] "AutoAdminLogon"="0" Setting autoadminlogon to 0 will stop the auto login process.
  2. Exactly what is your question? Do you want to stop the autologon process? If so, you can disable the autologon thru your group policy addin (I believe that's the one.) I don't recall the exact key to change, sorry.
  3. My nLite installation has everything needed to do some good tests. I haven't removed any crucial components or critial apps. I verified my prefetch directory exists and has all necessary files. I hope to find some time this weekend; by then Mastertech should have posting enabled again.
  4. I'm pretty sure your problem lies in how you installed Ryan's hotfixes, how you installed your applications, and how you went about making the unattended cd. That's why I recommended asking this question in the unattended board instead of here, because your install is now heavily modified. Since you did a bunch of things and actually tried the install without doing a test install in a virtual machine, there's no way to tell what caused your problem. However, I don't think your MBR has anything to do with it. Why not follow the Unattended CD Guide and try again? Install a virtual machine, and then recreate your iso and do a test install. Do one thing at a time - get the unattended basic install working, then add the ryan pack and test it, then add your applications and test again. The only thing you can't test is your drivers - that requires an actual test box.
  5. That helps: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/startups/r...t.exe-4431.html Do as suggested: virus, trojan and adware scan.
  6. I think this is better asked in the Unattended board. Hopefully a moderator will move it for you.
  7. According to the Nero website, Nero Express doesn't allow ISOs created for CDs to be burned onto DVDs. Nero does not have that limitation.
  8. There's something amiss with your OS, then. You should run a virus, trojan, and adware scan. You might want to check this out. It's for W2K, but the information may still help. http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=309190 Remember that unless you have a volume license, each computer needs a different key.
  9. Usually this kind of action is due to an illegal/hacked key. Do you have a licensed version of Office XP?
  10. If you are a beta tester, you would have a fully functional DVD and wouldn't be asking such questions. Warez isn't tolerated on these boards, IAW the forum guidelines.
  11. You didn't specify what OS you use. I will assume you use XP. For WMP54GS and WMP54G, there is no application/setup wizard for XP. After installation, XP looks for the inf file and installs the necessary drivers. Extract the drivers from the exe file (see the Unattended CD Guide for ways to get drivers out of exe files) and put them in the \drivers directory. WMP55_AG is not on the Linksys site, or on any site that I could find. Doesn't come up in any Google search.
  12. I don't think this type of post is allowed. I could be wrong, though. http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=18408
  13. Please post more information - what type of NIC, the name of the driver, where to download it, etc. I would imagine it's just a few files, with an inf to install the drivers. I put my drivers into the \$OEM$\$1\drivers directory, and my devices are found and installed correctly.
  14. I use nLite and have a very fast installation, even when using all of Ryan's packs. Can you break down how many hotfixes you're installing, any other tweaks, etc?

  16. Yzöwl beat me to the punch: You have to escape %, since it's a special character just like \. %% = % \\ = \
