  1. Another band you might like is Celldweller. www.celldweller.com Let me know what you think. If you have ever heard of a band called Circle of Dust, Celldweller is the lead singer of that old band. They rock.

  2. Any Nine Inch Nails fans out there? The new CD is only 4 days away! If you want to hear it before it even hits the stores you can do so here... It's a link directly from the NIN website so it's an official source. I would love to know everyone else's thoughts.

I used to be a big rap fan. Well, my friend says "here's a CD you HAVE to listen to..." (This was back in the mid 90s) He handed me Nine Inch Nails - Pretty Hate Machine. (The best NIN CD by far!) He told me "You should start with Track 5" (for those of you who don't know what that is... "Something I can never have") That is still to this day my favorite song... Before I knew it I was listening to the CD over and over and over... and about a month later I couldn't stand rap... I found a new kind of music that expressed the way I felt so much better. NIN is my favorite band of all time. So, there's my story... anyone else have one?

  3. And people bid on that!

I remember that Piece of mouldy toast sold on there once. They said it had a picture of the Virgin Mary on it.

It sold for something like $100,000!

No, the interesting thing about this is that it was a grilled cheese with a picture of the virgin mary on it. It was 10 years old and was kept in a plastic sandwich bag. It had NO mold on it whatsoever. It was actually freaky that there is a picture on it. I don't believe in christian teachings... but still odd. It sold for $28,000. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/4034787.stm

  4. Windows 98 does not have Remote Desktop. While you may run the client piece to connect to a Windows XP PC, you can not use Remote Desktop to connect to a Windows 98 PC. Sorry...

  5. OK... I thought this was worth a small chuckle...

I was going through some of the company junk mail and I noticed an "Undeliverable:Returned mail" message. It appears one of our agents attempted to send out an e-mail to a client that didn't go through. Know why it didn't go through? Because they spelt out the word "underscore" instead of using the symbol "_" I work with a new breed of ID10T...

  6. Nice seen this b4 but Wireless? oo nasty that mean u gotta Spend billions on AA batteries or Charge it all the tiem :( blah if they gunna do wireless i they shud do everytime ya X-Box it Charges ya Controllers even when ya playing games kinda like car battery or summat like that

I have a Logitec wireless controller for my PS2. You are wrong about batteries... I can't remember the last time I replaced them.

  7. If the shop you took it to installed the OS then they are required to supply you with a copy of it. If they installed it without selling you a license then they are in violation of the EULA. Do you have a valid license? The E-machines license is an OEM license and the EULA does not give you permission to install it on anything but the original hardware. Other than that.. I'm afraid if you don't have a license you will LEGALLY have to purchase one. You won't find a way around that here... We do not promote or allow WAREZ. Thank you.

  8. @smercer: so what... they are in your registry. They are really there to help you out. Your programs give you shortcuts to recent items you have opened. It's useful for other programs. The stuff in your registry isn't automatically sent to Microsoft, and so what it if was... It would tell them what the names of your files are. BIG DEAL. You realize that the only people who are this concerned with that information are usually the ones who aren't doing everything legit. I work as the Director of IT for a multi-million dollar company and I am not even concerned about the things you are throwing a fit about. Get over it.

  9. If you are running an Active Directory Domain you can use Remote Assistance. Turn on the ability to request remote assistance from any PC and all you need to do is have the client at the other end click OK that you can connect. Remote Desktop in Windows XP is slick. It's like you are sitting on thier PC even with the slowest of connections.
